Whilst we ended the 2021/22 Season in credit, we had Kit Costs prior to the season start which depleted the opening balance to -£817.00, which will also be taken into account for the start of this season, as we have already pre-ordered new Kits for the U13’s (Express-Hire), Lionesses (The SBF) and U11’s (CBIFA), whose sponsorship is included in our closing balance. This season, despite the increase in pitch costs and also the added usage of Pelhams All Weather pitches we have finished in a strong position financially and with that in mind have frozen yearly fees for all teams with the exception of U12’s and Sports (increase of 89p a month) and U14’s (increase of 75p a month). The new U12’s Knights Team will pay £26.99 (in line with the other age groups). This year we moved to TeamFeePay and as a result we have no outstanding subs. Area’s that I feel we can improve in are Sponsorship and I am working closely with SNAP Sponsorship to see where they can help us with this. We will be doing an internal launch with SNAP to see whether we have any parents who can help financially towards sponsorship of the club. Thanks to Star Soccer Supplies for giving us the best deals with regards to our kits, and discount. Moving forward next season and tournaments we would like to look at the potential of entering the ESF Tournament at Butlins, but we will run this separately to the financial accounts. In summary it has been a very successful year financially for the club, and we will be looking to increase areas such as Fundraising and Sponsorship. With regards to Outgoings I am happy that money spent outside the standard equipment and pitches has been done so responsibly and for the improvement of the club. Many thanks Jez Horgan Treasurer
