Phoenix Review - 2021/22

As the season comes to an end Phoenix Youth FC would like to say a huge thank you to all the Coaches, Committee Members, Volunteers and also the partners and children of our Coaches who are often forgotten. Without you guys there is no Phoenix YFC, so thank you so much for your dedication and hard work.

This season has far exceeded our expectations. We’ve taken on an U9’s Team who have fully embraced our Philosophy of Respect & Inclusion, along with a new U10’s development team. Our existing teams have also been successful in their respective age groups.
I use the word successful both on and off the pitch, as our players form lifelong friendships. We are very clear as a club of our real agenda and “goals” and that football is just the vehicle to get there.
From FTYLab to bowling, watching Championship matches and even paintballing, we endeavour to give our players more than just football and an opportunity to socialise off of the pitch.

So, where do we go from here…..
Next season we will enter two girls teams into the league. Our Wildcats have gone from strength to strength and we endeavour to bring competitive football for girls.

We move to TeamFeePay, whereby we have up to date tech in place to monitor players, their code of conduct and annual consent and an easier way to pay subs.

STATSports - we have two GPS trackers that we aim to use to have inter club competitions between our players.

On top of that we hope to take on more coaches, get more coaches qualified, lots more social events, and offer more opportunity for players to play competitively while keeping the existing format of our club philosophy in place and to help development our current players.

Between now and the start of next season we still have some tournaments and of course our End of Season Presentation, where the Mixed Teams will celebrate the season.
Thank you to all of you for your ongoing support and to all our players who have been an absolute pleasure to have in the club.

From the Ashes we will rise!
