PHOENIX YOUTH FUNDRAISER DAY

Just wanted to say a massive thank to everyone who came today. I think everything went pretty smoothly and there was definitely a real Club vibe going on with all players and parents interacting.
 
Massive thank you to Sarah and Kelly who raised a huge amount with their table goodies. A staggering achievement.
 
Big thanks to Rachel Jenkin at Ferndown who has booked, unbooked and booked pitches rooms etc. And to Leo Davies and his Bridport team for switching to an Away fixture.
 
The Photoshoot was a great laugh and Club Legends with be in touch if anyone wants to buy photos. Kids were great.
 
Thank you to the kids who were brilliant in the friendly and congratulations to the U10’s for winning their Cup game. I will let you know fixtures for next week in due course as I believe it will be next round if the Cup. Thank you Oscar RC and Jack for refereeing.
 
Thank you to all the parents/grandparents/siblings who came along to support today. It’s hugely appreciated.
 
Then onto the Coaches v Parents game. A great game played in good spirit. Thanks to everyone who put their limbs on the line. A very close well fought game. Coaches take bragging rights this time but I think everyone can take a bow (if they can still walk). Best wishes to Greg and Phil and hope you recover soon.

Finally, and most importantly I would like to say a massive thank you to the Coaches who volunteer their time, giving up their weekends to help make these special days go without a hitch. It’s great to be a part of something that almost has the football secondary to seeing the kids bonding and forming great friendships and without them that wouldn’t be possible.
